What is a Tarot Reading?

A tarot reading involves gaining answers and clarity of questions and areas of your life. During the reading a tarot deck will be used. A tarot deck is made up of 78 cards. Of the 78 cards there are Major Arcana and Minor Arcana cards. These cards contain information regarding the questions asked before they are pulled.

During a tarot reading, I will intuitively be picking and reading the cards for you. The cards pulled will not only provide guidance to what you’re needing, I will also be tapping into surrounding energies and bringing awareness to possible unseen issues and outcomes.

The answers in tarot readings are often in-depth and not quite “yes or no” answers. During a specific question asked, I will pull as many cards as I am drawn to in order to lay out a storyline and give more information on the answer. When doing a tarot reading, you can always ask for clarification or more cards to be drawn in order to gain more information.

What kind of questions can I ask?

Not sure where to start? No problem! You can come into your tarot reading with specific questions, or general areas of life you’d like clarity on.

Here are some examples of questions to ask during your reading:

  • What is my current energy?
  • What obstacle do I need to overcome?
  • What is my career calling?
  • How can I improve my relationship?
  • Am I meant to have children?
  • How do I find true love?
  • What do I need to work on internally?
  • How can I be better in my career?
  • In 10 years, where will I be?
  • Which job should I take?
  • What is currently causing me stress?
  • What is my biggest fear?
  • How do I feel about myself?
  • Is there anything I need to heal from, forgive, or move forward from?
  • Looking to the future, what kind of life should I try to create?
  • What is holding me back and what are my limiting thoughts?
  • Anything “hidden” in my life that I need to focus on and change?
  • Who am I am my core?
  • Am I headed in the right direction?
